Look what came in the mail today!

Our ballots!!! So excited!

My vote may not matter because it's not in a swing state, but I kind of don't care.  I love voting anyway.

  1. Woo-hoo! I signed up for a ballot that they'll send via email. Haven't received it yet, but I'm also looking forward to voting!

  2. Just finished ours this morning. I've been hearing lately on the news that states that were formerly deep red or blue are getting swingier, so every vote might actually count. And I realize EXACTLY how Pollyanna that sounds, but I want to believe it.

  3. @SarahS: I'll be interested to hear about the email voting! I still feel like doing it by mail is somehow more "official" but it's rather pricey to send due to the odd envelope size.

@Sarah1976: True - until I opened up the ballot I didn't know how important some stuff was. I'd forgotten about the Warren v. Brown Senate race which could be close. Glad to get to vote on that. Plus there were all kinds of interesting referendums on the ballot that I didn't realize would be there!

  4. I just faxed mine in with a site that lets me upload the pdf of my scanned absentee ballot, and faxes that. My state is Florida though, and I come from one of the four or five blue counties in an entirely red state.

I love commenters!
